ARA-290 (Cibinetide) is an 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the helix-B region of erythropoietin. It binds the innate repair receptor (a heterocomplex of EPOR and the β-common receptor CD131) without engaging the classical erythropoietic EPO receptor, and is investigated in preclinical and clinical research for its interactions with tissue protection and small-fiber nerve repair pathways.
